If you’re used to the Maileg universe, you’re no doubt aware that everything is absolutely adorable and played with a million times over. If not, know that you can’t go wrong with whatever you choose. This “miniature” size is very versatile (1:6 scale), great for mixed ages in a house because it’s bigger than you’d expect so IMO safer if younger siblings get ahold of what they shouldn’t. It is big (think Barbie scale) so if you want more typical dollhouse scale (1:12) go for the “mouse” size, but we have a mixed army of maileg mice, kittens, and size 1 rabbits and all seem perfectly overjoyed to do their laundry with this.
As a bonus, it comes in a sturdy box with a picture of the machine on the outside (which came well wrapped from Odin Parker) and my kid promptly decided it was for “big loads”. The box also moonlights as a dryer.
This goes so well with the maileg refrigerator. It is great quality and will last for years to come! Love the color…so simple and classy! Every dollhouse needs this. Do not wait on this one. I take my time looking for the perfect pieces for my children’s dollhouse and I purchased this one right away when I saw it on Odin Parker.
