I originally bought the carousel music box for my toddler out of nostalgia for my childhood, but as my little one has grown she’s come to love everything about it and excitedly shows it off anytime a friend comes (it lives in the living room to facilitate this key role) and so obviously when her best friend fell in love with it we were obliged to get a second one to give to her for her birthday. Buyer beware ;)
