"There’s a mouse in my house!" That’s a phrase you’ll be proud to say when you bring home Pilla mouse from Steiff. There’s no limit to the imaginative scenarios your children will dream up for our petite Pilla. This endearing little creature could even become a part of your family, just like Stuart Little! Pilla comes in a sitting-on-all-fours pose and is sewn from only the highest quality woven fur. Her feet, ears, and tail were created from soft grey velveteen for a realistic look and an exceptionally soft feel. Pilla’s face is hand painted and she’s entirely hand sewn in the century-old German workshops of Steiff. But beyond her impeccable craftsmanship, Pilla is a toy with real heart -- a heart that will capture yours! From the company that pioneered the soft toy in 1880. With the world famous "Button in Ear" trademark, symbol of highest quality.
The "Button in Ear" - a worldwide trademark of unmistakable quality.
In 1904 Franz Steiff, Margarete’s nephew was looking for a way to protect Steiff products from imitation. His great idea later became the epitome of quality and handiwork: a metal button in the ear as a protection label. Initially engraved with an elephant motive, the metal button soon wore the trademark and therefore became inseparable with the brand.
"Steiff - Button in Ear" is a world wide renowned and unique trademark, which still stands for quality, richness of ideas and entrepreneurial spirit.
Please note, the button in ear is NOT removable.
