I purchased the airplane as a gift for a friends newborn son. I figured the airplane would be a gift the child could cherish through many years of his childhood and maybe one day pass it down to their own child or a family friend. I love wooden toys and prefer to give meaningful lasting gifts and this plane is exactly that.
