This item broke literally within one day. it's beautiful and well designed, but it feels more like a collector's piece than a toy meant for play. it actually broke while i was unboxing it - I was sitting down and it fell a very short distance, yet it broke instantly. i expected a wooden toy to be much more durable.

My granddaughter loves the rocking horse. As soon as we gave it to her, she put her little mouse baby boy on it and started rocking it. It works and it's so cute. It made a great addition to her dollhouse..
